Osaka Day 1

Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street, the longest Arcade in Japan. 

Walked about 20 minutes from hotel then spent an hour walking the length of the shops and still didn't make it to the end! Feet were getting tired so we walked back to a station and caught the train back to Osaka station. Lunch then train to Shinsaibashisuji then walked down alleyways and roads to the Dotonbori.

Dotonbori is a Mecca for tourists and especially today as the local Japanese baseball team is likely to turn up. Place is full of police. The police are there because the locals tend to throw themselves in the river if they win and it's very polluted.

We did get a bit lost at one stage as so many of the train entrances are underground and Google maps gets lost!
